Wembley Stadium is currently the largest stadium in the United Kingdom with a capacity of 90,000 and is the most expensive stadium in the world at a cost of £900 million when building work was completed in 2007. Wembley holds the current world record for the most covered seats and is the national stadium of England.
The England National Football team play all their home matches at Wembley. The Stadium is also the headquarters of the English Football Association (The FA) and hosts the semi-finals and final of the FA Cup as well as the final of the Football League Cup (Carling Cup) and the Community Shield Final.
Wembley Stadium is operated by Wembley National Stadium Limited, and has hosted the 2011 Champions League Final and is also the venue for the 2013 Champions League Final.
